Tasks include:
- Working with our operations manager to pull orders
- Delivering each order in a timely manner
- Communicating with guests and operations manager
- Refilling gas and maintaining vehicle
- Delivering a manifest of your day
Expectations:
- Clean driving record and current driving license
- Efficient
- Effective communicator
- Must be 18+ years old
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Average Day:
Work begins with a check-in with our operations manager or garden center representative to pull orders and organize a daily drop-off route.
There is a 30-minute lunch break with two 15-minute breaks during 8 hour shifts.
The shift finishes with refueling the van, performing any maintenance on the vehicle, and communicating a summary of the shift with the operations manager.
Prerequisite
No prior garden center experience is necessary, but we do require that drivers have past experience handling mid-sized delivery trucks, have a clean driving record, and commit to safe driving practices.
